Fashion 2020 – Covid 19 and more

Who could have ever imagined Spring fashion would get such a huge shift so late into 2020? As the “personal fashion design team” and “buyer extraordinaire” for Threads, that thought had never crossed my mind. Who knew I ‘d have to go back to my orders and add so many “stay-in cozy feeling, but business casual, sharp from the waist up” selections?? With all of the “stay-in” activities and ZOOM calls when working at home, some minor adjustments were definitely in order.

Having said that, no one would want to miss that feeling of the first time the sun hits your legs in your new spring shorts. Match that up with a bright cute top and your sweet new shades. We owe it to ourselves to keep doing what feels good to us, (and on us!) We will emerge from this quieter time at home, on top and on point.

I take a very vested interest in the different lines we carry at Threads. They are carefully selected and all have a magical way of looking amazing together. I am able to pull together the entire vision before me.  Let me know if you need suggestions! I want you to feel amazing and confident in these styles.

Threads entire Spring line that has been arriving for weeks now, just waiting for the opportunity to be revealed to you all. Remember as things normalize, we’ll all be enjoying outdoor activities and catching up with friends. People will appreciate one another at a higher level. Details will be sharper and everyone will be seeing life through a new set of eyes.

Will you be expressing yourself with your personal Retro T? Wearing your “comfort-is-in” relaxed jeans with perfect, realistic tears at the knees? (Very convincing that you’ve been practicing comfort in these jeans for over 10 years!) Perhaps you’ll pair it with a soft, breezy skirt? Or will you wow your friends with a sassy sun dress that’s as bright as the smile across your face.

How long will it take your friends to ask, “Where did you get that cute outfit?”
